(Middle power). Push [RIT] key to<br />

store the adjustment value into<br />

memory, and to step next.<br />

Verify the output power (Low) is 1–5<br />

• Push [8] key to enter the deviation adjustment.<br />

• M<strong>IC</strong> gain : Center<br />

• Connect an FM deviation meter to [VHF<br />

ANT] connector through an attenuator and<br />

set as:<br />

HPF<br />

: OFF<br />

LPF<br />

: 20 kHz<br />

De-emphasis : OFF<br />

Detector : (P–P)/2<br />

• Connect an audio generator to [M<strong>IC</strong>] connector<br />

and set as:<br />

Frequency : 1.0 kHz<br />

Level : 20 mVrms<br />

Push [RIT] key to strat transmitting.<br />

Tune the [MAIN DIAL] to ±4.5 kHz<br />

FM deviation. Push [RIT] key to<br />

store the adjustment value into<br />

memory, and to step next.<br />

Tune the [MAIN DIAL] to ±2.25 kHz<br />

FM deviation. Push [RIT] key to<br />

store the adjustment value into<br />

memory, and to step next.<br />

• Apply no audio signals to [M<strong>IC</strong>] connector.<br />

Tune the [MAIN DIAL] to ±0.6 kHz<br />

CTCSS tone deviation. Push [RIT]<br />

key to store the adjustment value<br />

into memory, and to step next.<br />

Tune the [MAIN DIAL] to ±0.6 kHz<br />

europe tone deviation. Push [RIT]<br />

key to store the adjustment value<br />

into memory.<br />

Then turn power OFF and ON to<br />

return the normal operation mode.<br />
