Land Use Ordinance Amendment

SECTION THIRTY-FOUR
ARTICLE XVI, Zoning, Section 300-320, B-4 Business Zone standards, Subsection D,
conditional uses, is hereby amended as follows to eliminate church, congregation, cemetery,
crematorium, heliport, helistop and helipad as conditional uses of the zone:
(1) Church, congregation Reserved.
(2) Cemetery, crematorium Reserved.
(4) Heliport, helistop, helipad Reserved.
SECTION THIRTY-FIVE
ARTICLE XVI, Zoning, Section 300-320.2, IN-1 Institutional Zone standards, Subsection B,
permitted uses, is hereby amended as follows to allow senior day care facility as a permitted use
of the zone:
(20) Senior day care facility.
(21) Public purpose uses:
(a) Child-care center.
(b) Governmental or public utility facility, with the exception of an electrical generating
facility.
(c) Governmental or public utility office.
SECTION THIRTY-SIX
ARTICLE XVI, Zoning, is hereby amended and supplemented to include the following new
section establishing the Regional Mall Overlay District.
A. Purpose. The purpose of the Regional Mall Overlay District is to provide an opportunity
for the development of a regional shopping mall and/or large scale shopping opportunities. The
area of the Regional Mall Overlay District is accessible from the interchanges of Route 55 with
Sherman Avenue and South Delsea Drive and overlays portions of the B-3, IN-1 and MHP Zone
