ST JOHN’S WELLS TROPHY<br />
For the best two In-Hand Ponies, entered in the Competitive Classes (not necessarily owned by one<br />
Exhibitor), by the same sire, and drawn from the following breeds: <strong>Highland</strong>, Shetland, Eriskay, Fell,<br />
Dales, New Forest, Connemara, all four Welsh Sections, Dartmoor or Exmoor.<br />
The trophy to become the property of an Exhibitor who shall win it, or be part-winner of it, four<br />
times, not necessarily in succession.<br />
Originally Presented by Messrs H.P. Sleigh & Son, St John’s Wells, Fyvie, the Trophy was won outright<br />
in 2008 by Dougal Dick of the Transy Shetland Stud who very kindly re-presented it, agreeing to<br />
retain the original name.<br />
