SPORT<br />
In September 2012 <strong>Middlesbrough</strong> <strong>College</strong><br />
launched MC Sport, four Sports Academies<br />
including a brand new outdoor full size flood<br />
lit astro turf pitch. MC Sport will also offer<br />
accessible changing facilities and a spacious<br />
bistro to chill out, relax and re-energise after<br />
exerting yourself.<br />
You’ll be pleased to know that all of the<br />
facilities attached to MC Sport are available<br />
to all the students and to the public to hire<br />
outside of normal college working hours.<br />
TAKING SPORT IN THE TEES VALLEY TO THE NEXT LEVEL<br />
The Sports Academies are designed for 16-19 year<br />
olds and operate professionally to develop sporting<br />
excellence, nurture natural talent and aid personal<br />
development. You must be enrolled on a full time course<br />
at <strong>Middlesbrough</strong> <strong>College</strong> to be eligible to apply for<br />
an Academy place. If you are successful in securing an<br />
Academy place then prepare yourself for a total of 9<br />
hours coaching, training and fixtures per week.<br />
