Welcome to the <strong>Capital</strong> <strong>Region</strong> <strong>BOCES</strong> Adult & Continuing Education catalog,<br />
featuring courses offered during the 2010-2011 school year. <strong>BOCES</strong> is proud to<br />
share the expertise and talent of our faculty and staff through programs where<br />
you can learn more, earn more and train for great careers right here in the<br />
Tech Valley/<strong>Capital</strong> <strong>Region</strong>. Classes are open to all persons age 18 and older,<br />
unless otherwise noted, and are held primarily at our <strong>Capital</strong> <strong>Region</strong> Career &<br />
Technical School (Career & Tech) campuses in Albany (Colonie) and Schoharie,<br />
and our Health Careers Center, Rosewood Plaza, across from Albany campus.<br />
Registration and materials fees vary as indicated in the catalog and are paid by<br />
check, certified check or money order at the time of registration, unless noted.<br />
You will be notified only if a course is full or cancelled.<br />
Cancellations<br />
Classes are held per the schedule listed in each description. If a course is<br />
cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, students will be notified within five<br />
days of the start date. Notification of class cancellations due to inclement<br />
weather will be provided on our <strong>BOCES</strong> website, www.capitalregionboces.org/<br />
CareerTech, and via local television news stations.<br />
