CAREERS WITHOUT LIMITS: CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION FOR ADULT STUDENTS
Career and Technical Education
significantly enhances one’s ability
to secure a rewarding job. And, in
the 21st century workplace, careers
have no limits. Consider exploring
a profession that might be thought
of as nontraditional to your gender
or background. Adults may enroll
in courses listed here or combine
them with the GED program to
learn a career while pursuing a
diploma. These courses are stateof-the-art,
Middle States and State
Education Department-approved
programs offered to high school
students and open to adults on a
space-available basis. Classes run
September to June at the Career
& Technical School’s Albany or
Schoharie campus, Health Careers
Center or Proctors (Theatre Tech),
unless otherwise noted. Call BOCES

Monday through Friday
From 8:10 – 10:34 a.m. or
11:10 a.m. – 1:34 p.m. (Albany
& Proctors);
From 8:35 – 11:05 a.m. or
11:50 a.m. – 2:25 p.m. (Schoharie).
Tuition: $4843
(including $100 commitment fee)
A payment schedule will be arranged.
While financial aid generally is not
available through BOCES for these
programs, assistance may be available
to clients of VESID or local Workforce
Investment Boards.
