the pasco Utility System in the additive amount of $65,692.50 and a time extension of 586 days for this<br />
additional work. This additive change order and time extension is for additional repairs beyond the original<br />
estimated quantities of the contract. These repairs were identified during Televising and cleaning efiorts in<br />
the Aloha Gardens service area. Repairs include MH-MH lining, Testing and Sealing Joints and correction of<br />
break in connections. performing Ülese trenchless repairs in the Pasco Utility System if done early can help<br />

CA 6 Approvat of WorX'ffihorization WT 12-05 with Wade Trim for Final Engineering Due Diligence<br />
for the <strong>FGUA</strong>'s Purchase of the Assets of the Mad Hatter Utility, lnc.<br />
provided for the Board's consideration was Work Authorization WT 12-05 with Wade Trim to perform all final<br />
engineering due diligence related to the Mad Hatter Utility, lnc. system. The scope of work outlined in the<br />
woit< autnorization ié consistent with the engineering due diligence efforts completed for previous <strong>FGUA</strong><br />
utility acquisitions. The final engineering due diligence for Mad Hatter was originally included in a previous<br />
work authorization with pBS&J in 2009. However, due to the recent turnover of key staff, since the<br />
acquisition of pBS&J by Atkins, the parties have agreed to cancel the outstanding work authorization,<br />
allowing the <strong>FGUA</strong> to engage Wade Trim to undertake the engineering due dili$ence. The lump sum fee to be<br />
paid tJwade Trim for ihese services is $79,000. The previously approved fee for PBS&J was $90,000.<br />
These fees are contingent upon a successful acquisition by the <strong>FGUA</strong>. ln the event that a successful<br />
