Cost
The service is funded by Glasgow City
Council. Depending on the availability
of funding, there is no direct cost to
the individual other than the cost of
activities. Service users are required to
cover the costs of their support worker
if there is a charge for the activities
they wish to undertake.
The service is available to service users
from 8.00am until 12.00 midnight
seven days a week with the exception
of public holidays
Office opening hours: 9.00am –
4.30pm Monday to Friday.
How to access services
Access to funding for the service from
Glasgow social work services is through
a care manager. Referrals are assessed
by social work commissioning. Initial
enquiries are to the Manager or
Assistant Manager
Who is this service open to?
The service is funded by Glasgow City
Council therefore can be accessed by
anyone aged 16 and above living within the
city who has the active support of a care
manager to use the service. Funding comes
from Physical Disability services therefore a
referral by a care manager to
commissioning is more likely to be
accepted if the person has complex
epilepsy, complex needs arising from
epilepsy or who has an additional physical
disability.
