4. CONFIRMING POWER SOURCE VOLTAGE AND POWER<br />

CONNECTION<br />

4.1 Confirming Power Source Voltage<br />

4.1.1 Power supply in the control unit<br />

Confirm that the AC power being supplied to connector CP1 of the power supply in the control unit fulfills the<br />

following conditions.<br />

200 VAC +10% –<strong>15</strong>%, 50/60Hz ±1Hz, single phase<br />

220 VAC +10% –<strong>15</strong>%, 50/60Hz ±1Hz, single phase<br />

The following two LEDs are located on the power supply of the control unit.<br />

PIL (green) : Pilot lamp<br />

Indicates the power supply unit is ready for operation.<br />

ALM (red) : Alarm lamp<br />

This LED indicates the power supply has detected a fault. The fault could be the result of something like a<br />

direct current output short–circuit.<br />

For normal NC control unit operation, the PIL LED should be on and the ALM LED should be off.<br />
