Aged between 25 – 85. The majority had lived in Australia in excess of 30 years.<br />

• Validity: Unknown.<br />
• Sensitivity <strong>and</strong> Specificity: Good Sensitivity <strong>and</strong> specificity reported in a<br />
Perth community based sample. Additional evidence is needed. Note that<br />
the scoring method used in the Perth study is unknown.<br />
• Reliability: No information available.<br />
• Norms: None.<br />
OVERALL COMMENT:<br />
Very limited evidence on the psychometric properties of this instrument. Further<br />
research is needed. While not reviewed in this Compendium, two validation<br />
studies were conducted prior to 1990 <strong>and</strong> are listed below <strong>and</strong> at the top of this<br />
page. Use is recommended with caution (see explanatory note on page 14.)<br />
