2.1 Starting SQS Registration
In accordance with my country’s legislation, my company is in a monopoly
position to provide certain goods / services. Does my company need to register
on SQS?
As a general rule, if you do not ordinarily tender for your contracts with Shell and other customers using your
product/service (for example, if you are a mandatory utilities provider or a government body), you are not required to
register in SQS. However, please check that this exclusion applies to you by contacting Achilles. Contact Details
I think my company may fall into the list of limited exclusions. How can I check if
this is the case?
You can check the list of limited SQS Supplier exclusions by visiting www.shell.com/supplier/qualification where there
will be a list of Shell business units and groups of suppliers that, due to legal and organisational constraints or other
specific requirements, are not in scope for SQS. If you are still unsure, please contact Achilles for support. Contact Details
