ART and
design
Do you dream of one day exhibiting at
the Tate Modern?
A career in art and design is not just about
being a fine artist; it’s about leading a
life of experimentation, invention and
discovery. For decades Britain has led the
way in many creative industries and you
could become part of this booming sector.
This is a very competitive field, so it’s
important that you have a good educational
foundation to build on. You’ll need more
than just creative flair and we can help you
to acquire a good skills base and
professional approach.
We’ll build up your skills, confidence
and critical knowledge, to gain more
independence, greater responsibility and
understanding in readiness for higher
education level studies. You will also have
an opportunity to participate in organised
exhibition visits throughout the course as
well as exhibiting your own work during
creative arts shows.
Art and design exhibition
makes an impact
The King’s Lynn campus held its annual visual art and
design exhibition celebrating the achievements and
success of its students.
The exhibition offered the opportunity to walk
through galleries on the ground, first and second
floor of the front block to view student work.
The viewing galleries were also open to the public
free of charge.
Emma Forrest-Leigh, programme manager at the
King’s Lynn campus, said “This year’s exhibition is
truly outstanding; the work on display is a testament
to the students’ hard work and energy that has been
invested throughout the year. The exhibition gives
parents and people from the local community the
opportunity to view some exciting visual creations
put together by local talent. As well as the yearly
exhibition students have exhibited their work at
Greyfriars Art Space and in the town centre which
gives them the opportunity to have their work on
display in a professional setting”.
