or on users or EUMETSAT, a system anomaly tracing is produced with more detailed information. It
is maintained centrally at ITAF CNMCA.
In each case, processing and closure of the problem are performed by the identified responsible
people.
2.3.7.2 Configuration and Documentation Management
Such activities are included in WP S-1330. (see 2.4.2)
During the Development Phase have been identified Configuration Items for the H-SAF system,
according to CI conventions (EUM/PPS/PRC/06/0125) defined at the Preliminary –Design Review.
The same hierarchy defined for Configuration Items, mapped into the H-SAF
subsystem/components/subcomponents, will be considered during CDOP-2.
Cluster Leaders will be responsible for implementing and maintaining repositories and tools
supporting the Configuration Management processes.
There will be a specific work package “Configuration” for the maintenance of a central repository of
the Configuration Items status concerning version and updates.
For documentation management a centralized DMS (“Knowledge Tree”, web based) as well a
centralize archive at ITAF CNMCA will be maintained at context level, for all clusters.
The approach will follow these simple rules:
distributed responsibility at Cluster level;
centralized reporting of Configuration Items evolution and reports.
The identification of the configuration items has been traced and documented during the
Development Phase; on its basis the H-SAF initial configuration is the one at the beginning of the
CDOP-2 phase.
