Since 2001 Abelló Linde and Ibérica AGA have worked jointly, despite the
fact that the integration of accounts did not take place until two years later.
We should point out the enlargement and modernization of the laboratory
and production systems of the centre in Rubí, and the opening on November 21st
2005 of the new air fractioning plant in Jerez de la Frontera.
SALES
In 2001, the nine existing sales areas became four large commercial
regions: Catalonia, Madrid, Valencia and Andalusia. In 2005 they are maintained
as: North-eastern Region, centred on Barcelona; Central Region, in Alcalá de
Henares; Eastern Region, in Puçol, and Southern Region, in Cádiz.
With regard to the industrial division of the company, in 2005 gases in
liquid form represented 38% of sales. As a result, the number of tanks installed
has increased. The performance of compressed gases has been, on the other
hand, relatively recessive. The medicinal division has gained in importance by the
company being acknowledged as a pharmaceutical laboratory, manufacturer and
marketer of medicinal gases.
