<strong>The</strong> Thirty-Second Cycle<br />
Suzy Scott <strong>to</strong>ok her time getting herself<br />
positioned across <strong>the</strong> spherical bale of hay. It was a<br />
process she particularly enjoyed. It reminded her of<br />
her kick-boxing days, <strong>the</strong> exciting moments after she<br />
had removed her robe and waited for <strong>the</strong> bell <strong>to</strong><br />
signal <strong>the</strong> start of <strong>the</strong> bout. She wriggled in<strong>to</strong><br />
position. <strong>The</strong> three foot round bales of hay were<br />
perfectly designed for <strong>the</strong> full drape. Suzy stretched<br />
out so just <strong>the</strong> tips of her fingers and <strong>to</strong>es <strong>to</strong>uched<br />
<strong>the</strong> ground.<br />
Penny Ann stepped forward and slowly turned<br />
back <strong>the</strong> seat of Suzy’s gymslip and rolled her<br />
bumbags down until <strong>the</strong>y were around her ankles.<br />
Nicola Jane Nixon <strong>to</strong>ssed a coin in <strong>the</strong> air. Pen<br />
called heads but tails showed up. Nix and Penny Ann<br />
would deliver <strong>the</strong> strokes alternately. Nix would<br />
deliver <strong>the</strong> opener and <strong>the</strong> former Red-shirt <strong>the</strong><br />
closer.
