Whether you’re on two wheels<br />
or four, using pedal power<br />
or horsepower, a tour is a<br />
great way to experience the<br />
<strong>Shuswap</strong> landscape and<br />
culture, over a day, a week<br />
or longer – there’s a lifetime of<br />
discovery on our open roads.<br />
Cyclists will find over 1,500 kilometres<br />
of quiet, scenic, paved backroads,<br />
perfect for relaxed or vigorous rides,<br />
for individuals or groups. For a quick<br />
jaunt, try any of our out-and-back or<br />
loop routes, from 20 to 10 kilometres<br />
in length. Along the way, you’ll find<br />
great views, beaches, swimming, bird<br />
watching hot spots and lots more. There<br />
are four bike repair shops around the<br />
region to help you out in case of trouble.<br />
Themed tours are a wonderful way to<br />
explore. Experience the <strong>Shuswap</strong>’s<br />
remarkable agriculture by visiting farms<br />
and farmers’ markets around the region.<br />
Orchards, dairies, greenhouses, ranches<br />
– all kinds of down-to-earth adventures<br />
are waiting for you and they’re great for<br />
kids too. Or perhaps you’d prefer<br />
to indulge your palette and compare<br />
local flavours with a tasting tour<br />
through the <strong>Shuswap</strong>’s unique wineries<br />
