3.6 VARIATION IN DRUG BEHAVIOURS AND NEEDS ACROSS DEMOGRAPHIC<br />

GROUPS<br />

The following sections look at differences in drug use<br />

behaviours and needs across age, HIV testing history and<br />

language used for survey completion.<br />

3.6.1 Age<br />

The following table shows the proportions of four age<br />

groups who had used each of the drugs in the last four<br />

weeks, experience of drug injecting and concern about<br />

drug use. The drugs have been ordered by their overall<br />

commonality of use. For the indicators that varied<br />

significantly by age, the age group with the highest level<br />

of use (or concern) is in bold.<br />
