Entrance hall
“My entrance hall was inspired by my
childhood, growing up in a Georgian
Palladian villa in Ireland. Classic pieces
such as our console table as well as the
period mouldings help create this feeling.
Of course, the design was also influenced
by the generous donations received from
our fabulous suppliers.
“One thing that really stood out for me
while working on Design for Mirabel was
the camaraderie between the designers.
We were all working towards something
really special – the children supported by
the Mirabel Foundation – and with that
common goal, the kindness, support and
generosity we experienced throughout
the event was wonderful.”

“Our room evolved from our love of
comfortable, colourful and collected
rooms. Our appreciation for pretty
English decorating is reflected in the use
of traditional furniture, custom-made
soft furnishings and an eclectic mix
of patterned decorative fabrics. Our
starting point was the beautiful GP+J
Baker floral fabric we used to upholster
the vintage armchair; fabrics, paint,
artworks and accessories were all chosen
based on the jewel tones in that fabric.
We are so grateful to our suppliers and
manufacturers for their extremely kind
and generous donations, without which
we would never have been able to create
such a beautiful space.” >
