The structure anddelivery of health care has generated a wide range of legal concerns related to healthcare, including laws and regulations that govern the health care industry as a whole,healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems, health insurers, managed carecompanies, nursing and long-term care facilities, and home health care providers. Someof the recommended courses pertain specifically to the practice of health law; others,while not specific to health law, are important for a solid foundation in this area and anunderstanding of the needs of patients.
