At the core is a single or dual IR thermopile,combined with on-board low-noise amplifier, 17-bit ADC andpowerful DSP unit. This all in a single TO “can” package,with no need for external components or signal conditioningcircuitry. Excluding the need for external components makesthis family of sensors a low-cost “plug-and-play” solution forany high-accuracy IR thermometer or transducer, capableof measuring to better than 0.2 degrees Celsius.
