Transit ConcernsOne individual asked how many bus passengers the project would generate and whether MUNI wouldadd additional bus capacity to accommodate any overcrowding caused by the project. This individualsuggested that if the number of project-generated transit passengers should warrant increased capacity, theSEIS should analyze the air quality and noise effects associated with additional buses (if diesel). TheCCSF raised several issues about the transit impact analysis and the project’s encouragement of transituse over automobile use.
