Annual report 2011 11Activities of the Scientific Board of the Faculty in 2011The Scientific Board of the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies in 2011:−−−−−−−−evaluated the level of the Faculty regarding its educational activity and activitiesin the field of science and technology,discussed and approved the proposal of the study programmes for the academicyear 2011/12 offered by the Faculty,endorsed other experts with the right to conduct Final examinations in the studyprogrammes offered by the Faculty (in accordance with the University Code),endorsed members of the Board of Specialists for doctoral study programmes,endorsed supervisors for doctoral study programmes (in accordance with theUniversity Code),discussed the habilitation thesis and results both educational and research presented byDr. Daniela Chudá and Dr. Michal Čerňanský, and made decision to confer thescientific-pedagogical degree of ”docent” in the field Applied Informatics,discussed the habilitation thesis and results both educational and research presented byDr. Viera Rozinajová and Dr. Valentino Vranić, and made decision to confer thescientific-pedagogical degree of ”docent” in the field Software Engineering,approved a committee and reviewers for the process of nomination of “professors”for Assoc.
