94 <strong>STU</strong> Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologieswith their recognition in the existing source code. Our first approachpresents the support for pattern instance creation in semi automaticway. The main idea of this approach is that the developer should suggestthe pattern occurrence and specify the desired variants of the patternhe wishes to employ. The valid pattern instance customized tomeet all user requirements in the most ideal way will be created by theCASE tool. The second approach focuses on improvement of therecognition processes that often suffer by too high false-positiverecognition ratio (they mark some code fragments as the pattern instance, but in reality they are not). To reduce this ratio we have incorporatedthe dynamic analysis that is being focused of examination ofthe system execution into the overall recognition process.Student name: Anna Bou EzzeddineDegree program: Applied InformaticsThesis title: Web Information Retrieval Inspired by Social Insect BehaviourSupervisor: Pavol Návrat, ProfessorDefended on: March 24, 2011Annotation: This work is focused on retrieving information from Web, which representsthe biggest source of information that could be used by human. In the process of retrieving effective information, new approacheshave been established by using different principles and theories. Methods of solving problems inspired by nature or biologically areused in Informatics more frequently. Their potention in proposing newand making the wellknown methods of solving various kinds of problemsmore effective confirms. Inspired by social insect´s behaviourand following the analysis of information mentioned in several publicationswe proposed an upgrading of a selected bee hive model usedfor retrieving information in our work. In our work we used anadapted model in order to follow a developing story that represents anew approach in retrievng information. In this case the time of publishingthe story is also important according to the event it is connectedto. In order to retrieve an increased number of documents of biggerquality in the process of searching, we proposed a hierarchical interconnectionamong several bee hive models.Student name: Pavol MederlyDegree program: Software EngineeringThesis title: Semi-Automated Construction of Megessaging-Based EnterpriseApplication Integration SolutionsSupervisor: Pavol Návrat, ProfessorDefended on: September 30, 2011Annotation: Enterprise application integration, i.e. an endeavor to make independentlydeveloped information systems cooperate, is an importanttopic of enterprise computing for decades. Despite many efforts, bothin industry and academic area, integration solutions development isstill often a costly, error-prone process. The goal of this dissertation isto make messaging-based integration solutions development andmaintenance more efficient. In comparison to existing model-drivenapproaches that aim to generate code for integration solutions we are
