These include:universities (national or regional academic institutions) and think tanks;donors (bilateral, multilateral, foundations etc);international and national civil society organizations (CSOs), and national humanrights institutions (e.g., GCAP, Beyond <strong>2015</strong>, ATD Fourth World and others CSO networksand coalitions operating in the country);private sector entities;national and subnational government associations.4. Creating synergiesThere may be ongoing, upcoming or recently concluded processes that could be of relevance tothe post-<strong>2015</strong> country consultations. For instance:national planning or visioning exercises such as Kenya 2030 vision, Zambia 2030vision, China 2020 vision, or the drafting of a new constitution as in Egypt;national MDG progress reports being prepared by governments, especially wherethose are being supported by UNDP in prep aration <strong>for</strong> the September 2013 Review Summit;parliamentary hearings or review processes relating to the MDGs and development is-sues;development or review of a Common <strong>Country</strong> Assessment (CCA), United Nations<strong>Development</strong> Assistance Framework (UNDAF) or other processes managed by bilateralpartners at the country level;thematic consultation processes planned at national, subnational or regionallevel, in collaboration with UN agencies (e.g., the consultations leading to thepreparation of Rio+20, consultations on ILO Decent Work <strong>Country</strong> Programmes, nationallevel consultations <strong>for</strong> the ICPD review lead by UNFPA, and the UNDP Human<strong>Development</strong> Report process);consultation processes planned by civil society coalitions and their nationalpartners active on the post-<strong>2015</strong> agenda.It is recommended to explore how the post-<strong>2015</strong> country consultations can establishlinkages with such complementary activities and processes, including emphasis on targetstakeholder groups.
