People fromall over the world flock to Massachusettsand other New England states that timeof year.Folks from other “pahts” of our countrythink we Bostonians talk funny. Wheredid they “evah” get that “idearrrr?”Why is this state called Mass.? Peopledo not say Tex., Conn. or Wisc. Do you tellpeople you live in Fla.?Perhaps you have guessed by now thatMassachusetts is my home state. If it is(was) yours too, I encourage you to joinour New England Club. The first meetingof the new season is scheduled for October.In the meantime, stop by our table andmeet our president, Lorraine Benotti, atthe Club Fair on Sept. 17 in the Health &Recreation Building.What does New England have that isunique? Christmas tree shops! So, if you“evah” are in New England and love a bargain,be sure to stop and shop becausethey sell much more than holiday items.15.
