Applicants must submit the required documents by the prioritydeadline of the desired term of enrollment.Note: Academic majors offered at the Cecil B. Day Atlanta Campus and theMain Campus in Macon may not be offered at the <strong>Regional</strong> Academic <strong>Centers</strong>.Please check the availability of your desired major in the appropriate school’ssection of this catalog or with the <strong>Regional</strong> Academic Center Admissions Office.Readmitted StudentsIncluded in this category are students who previously attended a regionalacademic center (formerly called an extended education center) at <strong>Mercer</strong><strong>University</strong> and wish to re-enter a regional academic center after an absence ofmore than one semester (not including summer). The following materials arerequired from applicants desiring readmission:1. A completed <strong>Regional</strong> Academic Center Undergraduate Application forAdmission. (An application fee is not required.)2. Official transcripts from regionally accredited colleges, universities, andtechnical schools the student has attended since last enrolled at <strong>Mercer</strong><strong>University</strong>. (Readmitted students who have not been enrolled at <strong>Mercer</strong><strong>University</strong> for ten years or more must re-submit transcripts from allschools they attended.)Students applying for readmission who have less than a 2.0 cumulativegrade point average and/or who are not in good standing with the <strong>University</strong>must submit a written statement requesting readmission and explaining circumstancesthat affected their academic standings. The Coordinator of Admissionswill present the request for readmission to the appropriate dean’s office forapproval. Note: The letter and an application should be submitted by the prioritydeadline of the desired term of enrollment.Generally, readmitted students are permitted to graduate from <strong>Mercer</strong><strong>University</strong> according to the degree requirements set forth in the catalog underwhich they originally enrolled. However, students who leave the <strong>University</strong>, andare not enrolled for three consecutive years, must fulfill the catalog requirementsin force at the time of re-enrollment.Admission to the Organization Leadership ProgramFirst-time applicants should follow the procedures listed under the “TransferStudents” heading of this section. Current <strong>Mercer</strong> <strong>University</strong> students, readmittedstudents, and internal transfer students must submit a <strong>Regional</strong> AcademicCenter Application for Admission requesting the organization leadership major.A personal interview is required of all applicants for admission to this program.Specific admission criteria for the organization leadership degree program canbe found in the College of Continuing and Professional Studies section of thiscatalog.International StudentsIncluded in this category are applicants who are not U.S. citizens and whohave been issued a visa permitting them to study in the United States.
