Business, the Tift College of Education, the School of Engineering, the Collegeof Continuing and Professional Studies, and the School of Music.The Monroe F. Swilley Jr. Library in Atlanta serves the College ofPharmacy and Health Sciences; the McAfee School of Theology; the GeorgiaBaptist College of Nursing; and the Atlanta programs of the Stetson School ofBusiness, the College of Continuing and Professional Studies, the Tift Collegeof Education, and the English Language Institute.The Medical Library and Peyton T. Anderson Resources Center, locatedin the School of Medicine in Macon, offer a variety of materials that support theMedical School's problem-based curriculum, graduate programs, facultyresearch and development, and community health interests.The Furman Smith Law Library, which is accessible to law students 24hours a day, is the center for legal research information at <strong>Mercer</strong>'s law school.The law library's staff of sixteen includes professional librarians who have bothlaw degrees and master's degrees in library and information science. Thelibrary's staff provides instruction in the required "Introduction to LegalResearch" course, as well as the elective "Advanced Legal Research" course,which further develops a lawyer's ability to critically select and use a wide rangeof legal information sources. <strong>Mercer</strong> law librarians also teach specialized legalresearch, as part of doctrinal courses, on topics such as labor, securities, tax,and environmental law. The library's collection includes judicial, legislative,administrative, and practice materials, in electronic and print formats, for all jurisdictions,with an emphasis on Georgia and the Southeast.
