T.P.D.M.V.U(Al/2001)1.3.4 Working Group1.3.4.1 To provide government departments' technical inputs to the study team and feedback onproposals developed by the study team during the course <strong>of</strong> the study, a Working Groupshould be set up. <strong>The</strong> Working Group is formed by representatives from relevantgovernment departments at working level who are directly involved in the study. It shouldbe chaired by an <strong>of</strong>ficer <strong>of</strong> <strong>Transport</strong> Department at least at Dl level. Scheduled and ad hocmeetings should be arranged to discuss and solve any problems encountered in an expedientmanner. In cases when other government departments need to be consulted, correspondingrepresentatives should be invited to attend these meetings on an ad hoc basis.1.3.4.2 An example <strong>of</strong> the terms <strong>of</strong> reference for a Working Group is as folio ws-(i)(ii)(iii)(iv)(v)To monitor the study progress and review the study programme;To guide the study team on traffic and transport aspects related to the study asrequired by the Agreement;To ensure close liaison and to facilitate quick exchange <strong>of</strong> information on traffic andtransport matters among various government departments, relevant parties and thestudy team;To identify and resolve differing opinions arising from the study on traffic andtransport aspects; andTo receive and consider technical notes, working papers and reports on traffic andtransport aspects to be prepared by the study team.
