Είναι όμωςπολύ δύσκολο να προσδιοριστεί. Σκοπός της παρούσαςεργασίας ήταν ο προσδιορισμός του οξειδωτικού στρεςμε τη μέθοδο μέτρησης της ισορροπίας οξειδωτικώναντιοξειδωτικών(pro-oxidant anti-oxidant balance,PAB) σε άτομα με παχυσαρκία –με ή χωρίς αντίστασηστην ινσουλίνη– και η διερεύνηση συσχέτισής τηςμε γνωστούς δείκτες φλεγμονής, όπως το ινωδογόνο,η ταχύτητα καθίζησης, τα λευκά αιμοσφαίρια και η C-αντιδρώσα πρωτεΐνη (hsCRP).ΥΛΙΚΟ-ΜΕΘΟΔΟΣ: Στη μελέτη συμμετείχαν 55συνολικά παχύσαρκα άτομα (δείκτης μάζας σώματος,ΔΜΣ≥30 kg/m 2 ) και 21 υγιείς εθελοντές φυσιολογικούβάρους (ΔΜΣ
