Anne Linsel was born in Wuppertal and studied Art, Art History and <strong>German</strong> Language Studies. She was<br />
active for many years as a host for various television cultural programs and works today as a cultural journalist<br />
and author.<br />
Rainer Hoffmann was born in Hamburg. After studying Engineering, he worked as a photographer for different<br />
advertising agencies in Hamburg, and studied <strong>Film</strong> <strong>at</strong> the <strong>German</strong> <strong>Film</strong> & Television Academy in Berlin<br />
(dffb). He is an instructor for Cinem<strong>at</strong>ography and Image Design <strong>at</strong> the Hannover Academy as well as <strong>at</strong> the<br />
dffb. Since 1985 he has also been working as a cameraman and filmmaker.<br />

had never heard her name to be part of the<br />
dance performance “Kontakthof”. Within 10<br />
months till the opening night, the young dancers<br />
discover Bausch’s genius and their own bodies.<br />
Pina Bausch died in 2009. The film is a testi -<br />
mony of her revolutionary work.<br />
