Key Research Areas
In the past few years university research has moved away from application
research towards innovative basic research. In addition to the
university’s areas of research excellence, other areas have become
more prominent including immunology, non-linear systems, new
materials, processes and productions, visualistics, societal trans formation,
and communication and culture.
An impressive science and research infrastructure has been established
that enables close collaboration between theory and practice, as
well as research and application.
