We can only make a comparison between two situations, one with hapticfeedback and the other without.1.6 Report outlineThe report outline follows the chronological line followed while doing the project. Itstimeline is included below this text (Figure 1.1) to help the reader understand thereport outline. In the first chapter, after the introduction, the Scenario Zero isexplained for a human machine interaction project. In the scenario Zero could befound the most valuable information of the research process (Prestudies). After theresearch process, some decision making regarding the information given is done.These decisions conditioned the implemented prototype; the decisions are theselection of touch screen and the selection of haptic feedback for the touch screen.In the same chapter, the conclusions are followed by the description and justificationof the prototype. This description also includes a huge amount of discussionsregarding all the little decisions taken during the implementation process. Thischapter contains the section of product development of the timeline. Then, there isa little introduction into usability. This introduction to usability is made, to facilitate theunderstanding of the taken decision for the usability study. The introduction anddiscussions are followed by the presentation of the usability study that was carriedout with the implemented prototype. The next chapter includes some conclusionsand result discussion of the usability study. To end up with, there are the discussions,conclusions and next steps.5
