it was to become Grace Kelly’s favourite bag. In honour of the Princess of Monaco and with her consent, it was
renamed the Kelly Bag, and this is the name it still bears today. Alongside the Kelly Bag, the Birkin Bag has also
become an undisputed classic. With its shapes and details based on the Haut à Courroies, it was introduced in
1984, and it is named after famous French actress Jane Birkin.
