Romec’s appliance
of safety science
One of the UK’s leading facilities
management companies is using
the latest test technology as part
of a service to verify the safety of
electrical equipment used in the
workplace.
As part of its building maintenance
FM service, Romec provides specialist
in-service electrical safety testing
to help clients comply with their
health and safety responsibilities
and the Electricity At Work
Regulations in particular.
To provide this service, Romec’s test
engineers use an integrated portable
appliance testing system developed
by Seaward Electronic that links
advance test technology with specialist
appliance tester modems and
software-based records keeping systems.
The Romec team of service engineers
is equipped with the latest
Seaward Supernova testers to carry
out safety tests on all types of 110v
and 240v electrical equipment including IT, business
and office machines, power tools and appliances.
In total around 500,000 appliances are
now tested each year to check for electrical
faults and damage, which might otherwise go

four new colours enriching
the range of Adagio papers,

classified in four categories:

intense and flash.
