<strong>CCWT</strong> Trainer ProfilesJan e Mu lr on e yJane Mulroney has worked as a training consultant with manyGovernment and Non-Government organisations to develop andconduct domestic violence training programs. She has been involvedin the development of resources such as Steps of Change (FSSA)and Change Could Come (Jannawi Family Centre). Jane has workeddirectly with women experiencing violence and abuse and has alsoworked in legal settings such as the Domestic Violence AdvocacyService and the DPP Witness Assistance Service. She is currentlyworking as a private training consultant and at the AustralianDomestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse. Jane believes thatcurrent approaches need to focus on building collaborativerelationships with women in order to adequately support andempower them and their children. She also recognises the importanceof working in ways that invite the offender to take responsibility fortheir abuse and violence.Jen n i fe r C oenJennifer Coen is a grief counsellor at the Institute of ForensicMedicine. She began using drama as a means of therapy withchildren who have experienced sudden loss and trauma in 1986 afterworking as a professional actor and director. She has also workedwith violent offenders in a maximum security prison in Sweden, whereshe ran psychodrama workshops as part of a drug rehabilitationprogram.Jen n y M el ros ePPr esent er ’ s cour s esar e eli gib le f or AP SPoint sJenny Melrose is a Psychologist and an Australian PsychologicalSociety (APS) member who has been working in the Alcohol andOther Drug sector for ten years. She has augmented her clinicalexperience and training with a Masters of Education (Adult Education)majoring in Human Resource Development and Certificate IV inAssessment and Workplace Training. Jenny is a member of the APSDrug Working Group. This group has written two papers for the APS:a Position Paper and a Professional Issues Paper addressing issuesof the profession of psychology and working with substance users.The group was instrumental in forming the APS Psychology andSubstance Use Interest Group. Jenny has worked in both governmentand non-government sectors in Australia and England and has alsoworked in Indonesia providing drug and HIV information to police,education, health, policy and non-government workers.
