<strong>CCWT</strong> Trainer ProfilesSan d r a Plowri ghtSandra Plowright has postgraduate qualifications in psychology andcounselling as well as a varied professional and training backgroundspanning 20 years. She currently operates a private practice in theBlue Mountains, incorporating private therapy, consultancy, seminars,workshops, private supervision, aromatherapy massage, and sheteaches in a number of tertiary institutions.San d i P lu mme rPPr esent er ’ s cour s esar e eli gib le f or AP SPoint sSandi Plummer, PhD, psychologist and past lecturer at the Universityof Canberra. Sandi was the Head of the Community CounsellingProgram at the University of Canberra for over 18 years and has beenworking in private practice for over 25 years. Sandi currentlyspecialises in issues of Complex Trauma, working with individualsand organisations providing services to people with complex traumaissues and self harming behaviour, particularly those meeting thediagnostic criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder. She hasundertaken specialised training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy,Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies, and Body Centred Therapies.She combines an in-depth knowledge of behavioural strategies withapplied consideration of somatic issues and the need for a mindful,validating and compassionate response.Saul N ig htin ga leSaul Nightingale joined the <strong>CCWT</strong> team as a Training andDevelopment Coordinator in November 2003. Saul has been workingin the community welfare sector for the past 18 years, with 15 of thesebeing in the disability area where Saul worked in both direct serviceprovision and training roles. Saul's sound knowledge base comesfrom practical application, which enhances his ability to supportparticipants to transfer learning from the training room to the reality ofthe work environment. Saul has been a trainer and assessor for 9years and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Counselling andHuman Change.Simon M att hewsPPr esent er ’ s cour s esar e eli gib le f or AP SPoint sSimon Matthews is a registered psychologist in NSW and member ofthe Australian Psychological Society. Simon has worked as amarriage and family counsellor for over ten years, training extensivelyin Milan Systemic Family Therapy and Solution Focussed BriefTherapy, and keeps a keen interest in Strategic Family Therapy.Simon is also an accredited PREPARE/ENRICH pre-marriage andmarriage enrichment inventory administrator and trainer. He has aparticular interest in pre-marriage and ongoing relationship educationfor couples and parents.
