<strong>CCWT</strong> Trainer ProfilesM att St ub b sMatt Stubbs has a wide range of experience in youth work and drugand alcohol work in NSW and Victoria. He has held various positionsin both government and non-government organisations includingAssistant Director of Youth Off the Streets and Alcohol and other DrugCounsellor in Western Sydney Area Health Service.Matt is involved in developing and facilitating training packages foruse within the Foundation as well as in organisations like the NSWPolice Service and for Frontline Workers as part of the National IllicitDrug Strategy. He has also been integral in the development andsubsequent application and interpretation of the assessment toolscurrently being used by the Ted Noffs Foundation.Me lin da A us tenMelinda Austen was previously a trainer and counsellor at STARTTS,the Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture andTrauma Survivors. She has several years experience of working inthe field of trauma and has knowledge and experience of working withcouples and families through Relationships Australia. She has also spent several years teaching atTAFE and developing programs for school students in various healthareas. Melissa has presented at conferences on the treatment ofadolescents with serious mental illness and has recently had researchinto assaults on community mental health staff published.Me ryn O ’B ri enMeryn O'Brien is a Children's Community Worker with UnitingCareBurnside, and has many years experience working with children.Meryn has enjoyed running a range of groups in community, schooland church settings that have addressed issues such as self esteemand feelings, friendship, conflict resolution, grief and loss, living skillsand sex education.
