<strong>CCWT</strong> Trainer ProfilesJo hn L izz ioJohn Lizzio is the director of the Kriskindl Residential EducationCentre and has worked extensively with Non-Government,Government and Corporate bodies, having trained in all Australiancapital cities. John is a nationally accredited trainer with theEffectiveness Training Institute of Australia, the Australian College ofMusic (Public Speaking Section) and authorised trainer with theAustralian Institute of Neuro Linguistic Programming. John is anenthusiastic and committed trainer who believes that learning shouldbe fun and trains from the wholistic perspective. He seeks to integratecourse skills with other areas of learning.Jo hn Mer ch an tPPr esent er ’ s cour s esar e eli gib le f or AP SPoint sJohn Merchant is the Senior Grief Counsellor at the NSW Institute ofForensic Medicine. He has significant experience in the field of griefcounselling over the last ten years. John worked at Calvary Hospitalfor five years, in the public hospital system and for the last five years,has worked at the Institute. John has worked with familiesexperiencing both anticipated and sudden unexpected death. He hastaught extensively to social workers, psychologists, nurses, DoCS andpolice.Ju di A pteJudi Apte has been working as an adult education consultant andworkshop facilitator since 1991. She has a particular interest in theprofessional development of managers and professional leaders inorganisations that provide human services, and conducts workshopsin areas of leadership, adult learning, change and teams. She alsospecialises in the design of education and organisational strategies.Judi has developed mentor programs, designed numerousconsultation and planning forums, facilitated Families First OrientationWorkshops, and coordinated best practice conferences. Judi has alsocompleted a Doctor of Education (UTS) by researching the workingknowledge of adult educators involved in the facilitation oftransformative learning.Ju dit h H a wkesJudith Hawkes is a Senior Training Officer with the Commission forChildren and Young People.
