Systematicchecks and balances have been developed to achieve green building successand ensure our owner’s visions are brought to reality.Involved in the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadershipin Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program since 2005, HedrickBrothers has obtained a thorough understanding of required documentationand performance requirements to build and renovate LEED-certified projects.Hedrick Brothers has completed three LEED-registered commercial projects,with one receiving Gold and one receiving Silver Certifications, and recentlycompleted two LEED registered educational projects with both attempting Gold Certification, Hedrick Brothers Construction’s LEEDregistered projects accomplish the goal of green building through improving human health and the environment while providing alife cycle cost savings.Internally, Hedrick Brothers Construction has adopted an attitude of continual improvement, changing and altering its policies andpractices to improve its social and environmental responsibility. Improving efficiencies, developing environmental accountability,and growing Hedrick Brothers’ green building department are steps that have been taken towards the overall goal of sustainability.Our project management team includes 20 LEED AP’s.
