Student clubs andorganizations provide students with the opportunity to participate in organized activitieswith others having similar interests. They offer students a way to make friends, expandhorizons, and get involved in college life.STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATIONAll students are members of the Student Government Association (SGA). The SGA is themedium through which students can actively participate in the programs and policymakingprocedures of the College. It serves as the means of communication betweenstudents and the administration.It is the goal of the college to have a SGA established for each campus. Each campus willhave its own Executive Officers and Legislative Branch. It is hoped that this will create anatmosphere of participatory student governance that will result in greater studentparticipation in student clubs and organizations as well as in student government.172
