The current-measuring instrument is a Workhorse Sentinel ADCP. The Workhorse is an<br />
Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler th<strong>at</strong> when placed on the seabed sends acoustic<br />
signals up towards the surface. Acoustic reflections from the w<strong>at</strong>er particles are<br />
transformed to current measurements.<br />
