Section I New User Interface - FunctionalOptionsVendor Maintenance Form (FTMVEND)Tabs added to this page simplify navigation of the following types of information:vendor maintenance, additional information, vendor types, address, and taxes. Foradditional information about changes to this form, refer to the Changed Formsinformation in the Common Matching section.OptionsThe available options can now be accessed by right-clicking on a form fromanywhere on the blank canvas (not from a field).This list contains Rollback, Save, Exit,Print, and Add to Personal Menu as well as any form-specific options.Tip: In order to see the form on the personal menu which has been added throughthe options window, you must first refresh the menu by either clicking the Menu linkon GUAGMNU or entering refresh in the Go To field.If the Search button opens an Option List window, you are now able to tab amongthe choices and use the Enter key or space bar to make your selection.Code/Description Fields and List of ValuesWhen you double-click in a Code/Description field, the list of values (LOV) for thatfield will open. When you double-click on a field other than Code/Description thathas a LOV, the LOV will not open.Note: This functionality existed in Banner 6.x, but the non-Code/Descriptionfields had a Search button then, rather than the 7.0 icon. The fieldslooked different in version 6.x, but the double-click functionality was thesame.Tip: Changing the color of Code/Description fields with User Preferences can helpyou visually identify fields in which double-clicking will invoke an LOV.Standardization of Label TextIncreased screen size allows for clearer labels. As a result, many field labels are nowspelled out. When abbreviations are necessary, they have been standardized acrossBanner.
