These changes enablethe synchronization of data elements that comprise vendor information betweenBanner and the external e-procurement system.• FTMVEND• FOAIDEN• FOATELEThe following form was modified to add the Active Duty Separation Date field as theresult of a Human Resources enhancement for VETS-100.• FOAPERSE-Procurement Interface Preferences Control (FPAEPRC)This form has been reorganized with this release.By using this form you can specifically identify rules classes, tax group, buyer code,and approvals processing for all Banner documents created by the integration withan external e-procurement system.Elements for Message SynchronizationThe first block, Elements for Message Synchronization, displays values establishedon the Banner Message Aware Entity Rules form (GURMESG). Fields are includedin this block for requisition, purchase order, all six FOAPAL elements, commodity,vendor, and telephone. These fields are non-navigable and are display only.e-procurement Requisition PreferencesThe second block is now named e-procurement Requisition Preferences. For eachfield in this block, you may change the values to reflect custom rule classes forrequisitions created by e-procurement.Note: For requisitions created by the messaging integration from an external e-procurement system, the values entered on FPAEPRC for requisitionapprovals processing will override values on FOASYSC for requisitions.Finance Release 7.0 January 200552 Release Guide Confidential
