Stranraer, to Grace, fourth daughter of the late Mr Thos. Aitken, farmer in Culvennan.<br />

Minnigaff, but came to Ayrshire when a boy, and for nearly half a century was known in Ayr as a<br />

keen and intelligent politician of the Liberal school.<br />
