4.1.3 Thoughts on cooperationClearly there is a potential in the cooperation between Eneco, The Firm, Corus andRijkswaterstaat and it should be considered if the plans of implementing the idea areserious. All of those parties have the chance to obtain profits, if the collaboration betweenthem will be based on realistic and clear agreements. This cooperation can be illustrated asfollowing:The reason for choosing these organizations as main actors of the chain derives fromrecognising the existing relationships between those organizations and opportunities forfuture cooperation. Since Corus has signed up a contract with Eneco to install solar energyon Corus’ roofs, the long term relationship resulting from that might, and maybe should, besupported by joining another project and bring together the strengths both organizationshave. Corus operations are strongly dependent on Rijkswaterstaat: this is the entity thatregulates the policies on water quality and grants required permits. Joining the projecttogether would solve some of the challenges those two parties encounter and createsolutions to the critical operational issues. The Firm performs services already for Corus, so itwouldn’t be strange to further their collaboration.
