Crow Creek at I-5, Concurrent 1 Percent 30-Day Flood SeriesConcurrent FlowsThe concurrent local flows of CRSUB2, ORSUB4,ORSUB5, ORSUB6, and ORSUB7 are based on aconcurrent 96-hour storm that produced a 7-dayhydrograph. The precipitation losses preventedrunoff for the first two days of the storm over thelocal area. The remaining five days of runoff wereused as the main wave for all the local flow floodseries. Subsequent wave volumes for ORSUB4,ORSUB5, ORSUB6, and ORSUB7 for the 1percent flood came from the Orestimba Creekvolume frequency curve ratios (see Table 12).Crow Creek CROW1 and Crow Creek local(CRSUB2) concurrent floods used volume ratiosfound for Del Puerto Creek near Pattersonfrequency curves (see Table 9). These ratiosproduced the 1 percent 30-day flood. The 1 percent30-day flood derived from Table 12 was thenmultiplied by a single ratio (listed at the top ofTable 121 Percent 30-Day Flood Seriesfor Orestimba Creek SubareasRatios of Main WaveUsed to Develop 30-Day SeriesLocationTable 11 as “Main Wave Ratios to the 1 Percent Probability Flood”) to obtain the other frequencyfloods for local concurrent flow. The routing and combining of these subarea hydrographs will bedone in a hydraulic model.ORSUB4 subarea flow is shown in Figures 13 and 14 as an example of flow from one of the localagricultural valley areas.
