Checkingat least ten times a dayfor evidence of growth, ofchange, of emergence. Clingfilm with holes punchedthrough for air, held captivewith a rubber band. Later,biology labs with dark glassfrontedcabinets, long-deadcreatures floating eternally intheir baths of formaldehyde.And later still, to the presentday, jars and glasses andboxes filled with collections– shells, skulls, discardedexoskeletons, feathers, pelts,seed pods.Specimen JarMixed media, 142 x 91cm, 2011$3000Tracy completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts and has studied Visual Merchandising.
