Offshore wind farms in Europe · as at June 2010, data in MWfarms to the grid on land with the minimumof effort.There are currently four wind farms in operationin the German North Sea and one inthe Baltic. The Federal Maritime and HydrographicAgency (BSH) has already approveda further 27 offshore wind farms. There arealso plans for 62 new wind farms off theGerman North Sea and Baltic coasts.
