[03]ENERCON’s position as the German marketleader and sets new standards in technology,quality and safety.The success story began in 1984 when thecompany was founded by graduate engineerAloys Wobben. The first E-15 / 16 turbinehad a rated output of 55 kilowatts.This was followed in 1992 by a switch togearless technology with the ENERCONE-40 / 500 kilowatt. This innovative drivesystem with few rotating componentsenables a nearly friction-free energy flow,an increased service life and reduced maintenanceand operating costs.The product portfolio comprises turbinesfrom 330 to 7,500 kilowatts.
