TheIEC IIA version of the 900 kW platform witha 56 m rotor diameter – the PowerW<strong>in</strong>d 56– has been <strong>in</strong> series production s<strong>in</strong>ce January2008. The light-w<strong>in</strong>d variant – thePowerW<strong>in</strong>d 60 – with a rated output of850 KW and 60 m rotor diameter will beavailable for selected markets from <strong>2011</strong>.The IEC IIA version of the 2500 kW platformwith a 90 m rotor diameter – the PowerW<strong>in</strong>d90 – was first put <strong>in</strong>to operation <strong>in</strong>December 2010. The light-w<strong>in</strong>d version –the PowerW<strong>in</strong>d 100 – with a 100 m rotordiameter will be available from <strong>2011</strong>.International orientation towardscommunity-scale projectsS<strong>in</strong>ce the company was founded <strong>in</strong> 2007,PowerW<strong>in</strong>d GmbH has already sold morethan 120 w<strong>in</strong>d turb<strong>in</strong>es.
